Externally, Marrakesh render is featured on the protruding blade wall which has a ‘cut out’ to the entry deck intended to draw the homeowner or visitor inside.

When considering the orientation, we designed picture windows capturing the alluring north westerly views of the surrounding environment (Buderim to Tanawah). Vertical timber look batten screens on the front façade create visual interest and protect the western glazing.
The home offers a small prefabricated plunge pool, minimising wastage onsite and allowed our site team to work with the restrictive space. The generous and practical kitchen offers integrated appliances for a seamless finish, and the home also operates a state-of-the-art solar system.
The show house embraces the northern orientation which optimises passive solar design principles. Extensive amounts of glazing to this aspect allow immense amounts of natural light which create a spacious feel and a healthy living environment.The open plan living area is located in the heart of the home facing north with direct access to the external living area, shielded with walls to the east and west creating the perfect entertaining space which is “not too hot in summer and not too cool in winter”.
Large external stacking sliding doors to the alfresco with a flush threshold between the internal floor and the alfresco deck creates seamless indoor/outdoor living. This was an element that required trade management as we had to ensure all crucial heights for the pool, concrete slab door rebates and internal finished floor levels were met to achieve the silver level LHA step free transitions.
The home features four spacious bedrooms including one functional ground floor suite catering to visitors, teenagers or aging homeowners. The private master retreat is situated upstairs and has all the trimmings such as a sitting area and large picture windows orientated to capture views through the void space. The ensuite includes dual vanities, dresser and a freestanding bath – plus a skylight for added natural light.
